006R: Returning a Document

Purpose:To provide details on how to return a document utilizing the alternate status function in ConcurGov.

Instructions: After you login...

Approvals Tab

Click on "Approvals" in the site header or "Approve Documents" under the "Shortcuts" menu to view a list of documents.

Review and Approve

Once in the Document List, select "Review and Approve". This will bring you to the Review Document page.

Click the "Next" button to proceed to the Apply Status page.

Apply Status

To apply an alternate status than the one displayed in black text, click "Change" to display available options.

Status to Apply

Choose the applicable "Status To Apply" from the drop-down menu.

Note: A "Reason" must be selected when an authorizing official needs to cancel or return a document.

Click on "Apply Status" when complete.

If necessary, enter in any additional information in the "Comments" field.

Routing Confirmation

You will be directed to the "Routing Confirmation" page when the new status has been successfully applied and the document has been routed.
