045FATA: Moving a User from One Organization to Another

Purpose:To provide a step-by-step guide to moving a User from one Sub-Organization to another Sub-Organization (within the same Organization). This could be for traveling on behalf of another Organization or for a permanent change of employment.

Audience: Federal Agency Travel Administrators (FATAs)


Instructions: After you login...



Select Administration Tab

From the ConcurGov Home page, select the “Administration” tab.   From the drop-down arrow, select “Company” then “Company Admin.”


Select User Administration

Select the “User Administration” link.


Search for User

Enter the First Name, Last Name or Email of the User in the “Search Text” box.  Select the “Search” button.  Select the User from the list by clicking on their name. 

Note: You must have access to the Group in which your User is a member to search for their profile.


Travel Settings

Select the “User Role Membership” by checking the box to the left of the role. Update the User’s “Rule Class” by selecting an option from the drop-down menu. Remove the User name from the “PAR/Level 2 STAR” box to overwrite an existing profile.


Locate Organization

Identify the current Organization (Org) for the User.  As a Federal Agency Travel Administrator (FATA), you may move this User to any Sub Org within your Org to which you have access.  If you do not have access to the User’s new Org, contact your designated PSC Account Manager for assistance.


Select New Organization

Select the new Org that you would like to assign to the User by clicking on the “x.”  From there, begin typing in the name of the new Org in the “Org” box.  Select the Org from the list. The Printed Org field will auto-populate based on the new Org selected.

Update Routing List

Select the “Routing List” drop-down arrow and select a Routing List that is part of the new Org.


Save Information

Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the “Save” button to complete.
