018A: Add a Conference Tab to a Travel Authorization
Purpose: To provide a step-by-step guide for adding a conference tab to an Authorization.
Audience: Federal Travelers and Federal Travel Arrangers (FTA)
Instructions: After you login...
Select Authorizations Tab
From the ConcurGov Home page, select the “Authorizations” tab and select “View Authorizations.”
Select the Authorization you would like to view under the “Name” column. Select “Open Document.”
Enter in Document Information
Select the “General” tab. Under “Trip Purpose”, select “CONFERENCE-NOT TRAINING” from the drop- down menu. Select “Type Code” from the drop-down menu based on your type of travel.
A “Conference Travel” tab will now appear under the “General” tab.
Select the “Month of Conference” from the drop- down menu. Click “Save Changes.”
Select “Conference Name” from the drop-down menu. Click “Save Changes.”
Note: If the conference is not listed, contact your Lead Federal Agency Travel Administrator (FATA) to have it added to ConcurGov. Only approved conferences may be selected.
