Medical Supply Support for Presidential
Initiatives, Foreign Assistance Programs, National and Emergency and
Disaster Relief Programs
The SSC provides technical assistance and supply support for national
emergency and disaster relief programs. The SSC personnel are on call
24 hours a day for all Office of Emergency Response and Disaster Medical
Assistance Team Responses. In addition, SSC also supports the U.S. Department
of State's, Office of Medical Services and Department of Defense activities
at US Army Medical Materiel Agency and Naval Medical Logistics Office
and Naval Fleet Hospital Programs.
The SSC has provided support to the following programs:

- Consulate and Embassy Support in Persian Gulf Regions
- USAID Guatemala Hurricane Mitch Project
- Kosovo Refugee Relief Support
- Olympic and Super Bowl Games
- Hurricane Floyd Emergency Support
- Egypt Air Crash-Debris and Human Remain Recovery Effort
- World Trade Center/Pentagon Emergency Supply Support
- Bioterrorism Anthrax Antibiotic Supply/Repackaging Response
- Metropolitan Medical Response Teams
- USS Cole Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Support
- FED HEALS Vaccine Program for Reservist Deployment
- Naval Fleet Hospital Supply Support for Taliban Detainees
- USAMMA Unit Deployment Assemblies for Operation Iraqi Freedom
- Naval Fleet Hospital Supply Support for Operation Iraqi Freedom
