Strategic Acquisition ServiceSupply Service CenterFDA Licensed Drug Repackaging Services - Unit-of-Use Pharmaceutical PrepacksThe SSC is the only FDA licensed facility in the federal government that provides Unit-of-Use Pharmaceutical Prepacks to a variety of federal customers. The unit-of-use containers are convenient, prescription size, patient ready units labeled for direct distribution to patients by health care providers. SSC Prepacks are very competitively priced and available in many different package sizes. Dispensing these unit-of-use containers is an economical and time saving alternative at small or remote locations and at larger health care facilities that have a reduced pharmacy staff. SSC provides custom repackaging services to meet the unique requirements of all our customers. The Center has five packaging lines that produce unit-of-use containers of solid oral dosage forms. All packaging is accomplished using state of the art equipment and experienced personnel supervise all facets of the packaging. The Center follows standard industry and FDA approved methods for receiving, sampling, testing, accepting, and repackaging of all supplies. Production controls include rigorous quality control standards performed by the Pharmacy Service production team and the Center's Quality Assurance staff. All products must pass predetermined standards before they are released for sale. In addition retention samples of pharmaceuticals are retained and stored for the duration of the products shelf life. Strict quality control standards must be maintained by the Center to assure compliance with the FDA's Current Good Manufacturing Practices Regulations. Our customers are looking for a reliable source of unit-of-use prepacks

agencies.
