HHS Information Hotline

Administrative Operations Service

The HHS Hotline is the general information telephone line for the Department of Health and Human Services.  The hotline provides dedicated support to handle inquiries, help callers find information, and direct callers to HHS program offices and other federal, state, and local organizations. Calls to the HHS Hotline are handled by the ONE-DHHS Contact Center. Bilingual Customer Support Representatives are also available.

Performance:

    99.9% of the time, the HHS Hotline will be available for inquiries each business day between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 pm.     Eastern Time.

    85% of calls will be answered within 30 seconds.

Rate:

    $2.79 per FTE per year
